Why New Noise?

I’m Robbie Kings, founder of New Noise. I help cultural organisations cut through complexity and make better decisions, turning audience insight into practical action with clear measures of success.

For over 20 years, I’ve worked in arts marketing across commercial and subsidised venues, producers, and agencies, with a focus on pricing, audience strategy, and campaign direction. Over that time, I’ve seen no shortage of good ideas and talented people. The challenge is usually turning those ideas into decisions. Priorities compete, capacity is stretched, and objectives become blurry.

My role is to bring clarity, ask the awkward questions kindly, and help turn strategy into choices a team can deliver and sustain.

I thrive on bringing people together around shared passions. That applies to audiences, but also to the team behind the work. I collaborate with designers, videographers, writers, researchers, and ticketing partners, bringing in the right expertise for each project.
